WPForms Webhooks
WPForms Webhooks is an add-on plugin by WPForms that connects your forms to outside applications and services. When someone submits a form, it sends the entry data to a URL or API you choose, such as a CRM, an email marketing service or a custom app.

What it does
Copying form entries into other tools by hand takes time and invites mistakes. Many site owners solve this with a paid connector service, which adds another account and another bill. This add-on handles the connection inside WPForms itself. You set up a webhook on a form, point it at an external URL or API, and each new submission is sent there automatically. There is no cap on the number of webhook connections, so you can feed several services from one form or set up many forms.
Setup happens in the familiar WPForms builder and needs little or no coding. You pick the request method, such as POST or GET, and the payload format, such as JSON or XML, to match what the receiving service expects. Field mapping lets you decide which form values go where, and secure custom values can be hidden behind a padlock toggle. Conditional logic controls when a webhook fires, multi-page forms send everything at final submission, and entries marked as spam are not sent.
Best for
- WPForms users who want entries sent to a CRM
- Businesses replacing paid connector services for form data
- Developers sending form submissions to custom APIs
Features
Send form submission data to as many external URLs or APIs as you need, with no limit on connections or transfers.
Send data using POST, GET or other request methods so each webhook matches what the receiving service expects.
Control how the data is packaged, including JSON or XML, to fit the requirements of the app or API on the other end.
Map form fields to the parameters a service needs, and mark custom values as secure using the padlock toggle in the mapping table.
Set request headers and the request body for each webhook, giving you control over exactly what gets sent with every submission.
Fire a webhook only when a visitor's answers meet the conditions you define, so data goes out only when it should.
Collect information over several steps and send all of it together when the visitor completes the final page of the form.
Entries that WPForms marks as spam are not sent through webhooks, which keeps junk submissions out of your connected tools.

Questions about WPForms Webhooks
Do I need WPForms for this to work?
Yes. This is an add-on for WPForms and works inside the WPForms form builder. You configure each webhook from the form's settings, and it sends that form's submissions to the external URL or API you specify.
Can I send form data to a CRM or email marketing tool?
Yes. Any service that accepts data at a URL or API endpoint can receive your form entries. That includes CRMs, email marketing platforms, cloud storage services and custom applications, as long as they accept webhook requests.
Can I control when a webhook is sent?
Yes. Conditional logic lets you trigger a webhook only when a visitor's responses match conditions you set. Entries flagged as spam are also skipped, so they do not reach your connected services.
Do I need to write code to set up webhooks?
Little or no coding is needed. You set the URL, request method, format, headers, body and field mapping through the WPForms interface. Some familiarity with what the receiving service expects will help you map fields correctly.
Is WPForms Webhooks free?
The code of WPForms Webhooks is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of WPForms Webhooks is this?
Version 1.8.0, released Sep 15, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update WPForms Webhooks?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of WPForms Webhooks automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
