What it does
The standard AffiliateWP registration form works, but it gives you little say over what you ask applicants. This add-on hands that job to Gravity Forms. You build the signup form with the usual drag and drop editor, mixing regular Gravity Forms fields with three AffiliateWP fields made for affiliate details. Only an email address is required, so you can keep the form short or ask for much more, depending on how you vet new partners. Both plugins need to be active on your site.
The add-on also handles account setup. If your form has no username field, a WordPress username is created from the applicant's email address. If there is no password field, a password is generated and emailed to the new affiliate. Once applications arrive, you can read each submission on the approval screen and open the original entry later from the Edit Affiliate screen. Custom email tags let you pull form data into AffiliateWP emails, and Gravity Forms mailing list add-ons can add new affiliates to your email lists.
