- ImprovedCompatibility with PHP 8
What it does
Paying affiliates by hand usually means exporting referral data, logging into PayPal and sending each payment one by one. This add-on moves that job into AffiliateWP itself. Once your PayPal business account is connected through PayPal's API, you can pay out referral earnings from your dashboard instead of copying amounts and email addresses between screens. It requires a PayPal business account with API access enabled.
The plugin handles both small and large programs. You can pay an affiliate for a single referral, combine several referrals into one payment, or send payouts for many referrals at once in a bulk run. It extends the core AffiliateWP plugin, so it fits sites that already use AffiliateWP to track referrals and want the payment step to happen in the same place.
Best for
- AffiliateWP site owners who pay commissions through PayPal
- Businesses running affiliate programs with many referrals
- Store owners tired of sending affiliate payments manually
Features
Pay an affiliate their earned commission with a single click from AffiliateWP, without leaving your site to send the money manually in PayPal.
Send payouts for multiple referrals at the same time, which keeps payment runs manageable when your affiliate program has many active partners.
Choose to pay an affiliate for one referral on its own, or group several of their earnings together into a single payout.
Connects to your PayPal business account through PayPal's API, so payments are sent directly to affiliates' PayPal accounts without manual handling of each one.
Designed specifically for PayPal business accounts that have API access enabled, which is required for the add-on to send payouts.
Works as an add-on to the core AffiliateWP plugin, adding a payment step to the referral tracking you already run there.

Questions about PayPal Payouts
Do I need AffiliateWP for this to work?
Yes. This is an add-on that extends the core AffiliateWP plugin. It adds PayPal payment sending to the referrals AffiliateWP already tracks, so you need AffiliateWP running on your site to use it.
Can I use a personal PayPal account?
No. The add-on is available only for PayPal business accounts, and that business account needs API access enabled so the plugin can connect to PayPal and send payouts on your behalf.
Can I pay many affiliates at once?
Yes. Along with paying individual referrals, you can send bulk payouts for multiple referrals at the same time, which is useful for programs with a large number of affiliates.
Can I combine several referrals into one payment?
Yes. You can pay an affiliate for a single referral or combine multiple referral earnings into one payout, depending on how you prefer to handle commissions.
Is PayPal Payouts free?
The code of PayPal Payouts is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of PayPal Payouts is this?
Version 1.4.3, released Apr 13, 2025. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update PayPal Payouts?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of PayPal Payouts automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
