What it does
A flat commission rate treats every affiliate the same, whether they send one referral a month or fifty. This add-on gives you a way to reward the people doing the most work. You define tiers with their own thresholds and commission rates, measured either by how many referrals an affiliate generates or by how much they have earned. As an affiliate crosses a threshold, AffiliateWP moves them to the higher rate automatically, so you are not adjusting payouts by hand.
Setup happens in a dedicated Tiered Rates section inside your AffiliateWP settings, so it sits alongside the rest of your affiliate program management. You can create as many tiers as your program needs and choose percentage rates or flat amounts. There is also an expiration option that resets tiered rates monthly, which gives affiliates a fresh target each period. It suits store owners and businesses already running AffiliateWP who want a structured incentive system for their partners.

Does this plugin work on its own?
No. It is an add-on for AffiliateWP and adds a Tiered Rates section to your AffiliateWP settings. You need AffiliateWP running on your site to create and apply tiered commission rates.
Can I base tiers on sales amounts instead of referral counts?
Yes. Tiers can be measured by the number of referrals an affiliate generates or by the earnings they accumulate. You define the threshold for each tier and the commission rate affiliates receive once they reach it.
Do affiliates stay at a higher tier forever?
That is up to you. The plugin includes an expiration option that resets tiered rates monthly. If you enable it, affiliates start fresh each month and need to reach the thresholds again to earn the higher rates.
