What it does
Running an affiliate program usually means copying the same details between several tools. A new affiliate signs up and has to be added to a mailing list, a spreadsheet and maybe a CRM. A payout goes out and someone has to record it in accounting software. This add-on moves that work into Zapier, where you build zaps that react to AffiliateWP events and pass the data to apps such as Mailchimp, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, Dropbox or Facebook Ads.
The connection works in both directions. Triggers fire when affiliates, referrals, visits, creatives or payouts are created, updated or deleted, and actions let other apps add or update affiliates and referrals in AffiliateWP. You choose which record types send notifications, so only the data you need leaves your site. Authentication uses AffiliateWP API keys together with the REST API Extended add-on, which makes it a fit for sites already running AffiliateWP that want their affiliate data to reach the rest of their tools.
