What it does
If you take bookings through Bookly and also live in Google Calendar, keeping both up to date by hand gets tedious and leads to mistakes. A personal event added in Google Calendar can leave a slot open in Bookly, and a new booking might never reach your phone. This add-on links the two so appointments booked in Bookly appear in Google Calendar, and changes made on either side are reflected in the other.
The sync supports multiple staff members, each with their own Google Calendar connection, which suits salons, clinics, studios and other teams that book by person. Availability is set in Bookly and passed along to Google Calendar, while busy times are blocked to prevent double bookings. Because Google Calendar is available on desktop, tablet and phone, staff can check their schedules from whatever device they carry. The connection uses Google's secure API.
