What it does
Default AffiliateWP referral links rely on an affiliate ID or username. IDs are hard to remember, and usernames can expose details an affiliate would rather keep private. This add-on lets each affiliate pick a slug that matches their name, business or campaign, so the link they share is clean and easy to recall. It works with both pretty URLs and traditional query-string links, so it fits whichever format your site already uses.
Admins decide who can create slugs, either everyone or selected affiliates, and can have slugs generated automatically at registration. Rules for allowed characters and maximum length keep slugs consistent, and duplicates are blocked so referrals never collide. Affiliates manage their slugs from the Affiliate Area, can switch between their standard link and the custom one, and can tie campaigns to their slug. Admins can edit or remove slugs from the dashboard and see them in affiliate exports.

Do I need AffiliateWP for this to work?
Yes. This is an add-on for AffiliateWP and builds on its referral system, Affiliate Area and campaign feature. It extends the existing referral link formats with custom slugs rather than working on its own.
Can affiliates still use their regular referral link?
Yes. Custom slugs can replace or sit alongside the default username or ID format. Affiliates can switch between their standard link and their custom slug link in the Affiliate URLs tab, and with Multi-Tier Commissions they can do the same in the Your Network Link section.
Can I restrict which affiliates get custom slugs?
