What it does
Some buyers can't or won't pay online. Schools, nonprofits and many organizations still pay by check, and turning them away means losing the sale. This plugin gives those customers a way to order from your Easy Digital Downloads store while paying offline, and it sits alongside the card and online gateways you already offer, so other customers check out as usual.
When a customer selects check payment, the order is recorded with a pending status and the customer sees the instructions you wrote, such as who to make the check out to and where to mail it. Nothing is completed until you receive and confirm the check, then you mark the order complete from the WordPress dashboard. It works with the currency settings already configured in your store.

What happens to an order when a customer chooses to pay by check?
The order is saved with a pending status and the customer is shown your payment instructions. It stays pending until you receive and confirm the check, at which point you update it to complete.
