What it does
Easy Digital Downloads sends standard receipts and notices, but many store owners want more control over who gets which message and when. EDD - Conditional Emails handles that by letting you set conditions that decide when an email goes out. You can follow up after a purchase, reach customers who left items in their cart, or point buyers toward related products based on their buying patterns. Each rule can combine several conditions, so you can target a narrow group of customers instead of your whole list.
The plugin works inside your existing Easy Digital Downloads setup, and its email editor follows the same look as the rest of the EDD admin. You build and manage rules from a dashboard without writing code. Messages can pull in customer names, purchased products and download links, and you can start from a pre-built template or design your own responsive layout. Reporting shows open rates, click-throughs and conversions so you can see how each email performs and adjust your rules.

Questions about EDD - Conditional Emails
Does this plugin need Easy Digital Downloads?
Yes. It is built as an add-on for Easy Digital Downloads and works within your existing EDD store, using its orders, customers and cart data to decide which emails to send. It has no purpose on a site without Easy Digital Downloads.
Can I send emails to customers who abandon their cart?
Yes. Abandoned cart behavior is one of the conditions you can use. You can set up a message that goes to customers who added items but did not complete checkout, and you can include details like product names to remind them what they left.
Do I need to know how to code to set up the rules?
No. Conditional email rules are created and managed through a dashboard in the WordPress admin. You choose the conditions, write the message, and pick or design a template without editing any code.
Can I see how my emails are performing?
Yes. The plugin includes reporting that tracks open rates, click-throughs and conversions. You can use these figures to see which conditional emails work for your customers and adjust the ones that do not.
Is EDD - Conditional Emails free?
The code of EDD - Conditional Emails is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
