Fraud Monitor works inside your Easy Digital Downloads setup and checks each transaction as it happens. It looks at several signals, including IP address and geolocation, purchase history, device fingerprinting and mismatches between billing and shipping details, then flags orders that look risky.
You decide how strict the checks are by adjusting the risk thresholds to suit your store, which helps cut down on false positives. Flagged orders appear in a dashboard where you can review them, and detailed reports help with auditing. Email or dashboard notifications let you know when suspicious activity shows up, and you can remove a flag when an order turns out to be fine.
