What it does
Stores that sell digital products often get asked for proper invoices, whether for expense reports, bookkeeping or tax records. Handling that with a separate billing tool means copying order details by hand and keeping two sets of records in sync. This extension works inside Easy Digital Downloads, so each order can have a matching invoice built from the data your store already holds, including discounts, taxes, fees and credits.
You set up the invoice layout once with your logo, colors and business details, and invoices can then be generated and emailed after purchase. Customers get PDF versions they can print or save, and guest buyers see a confirmation step before viewing theirs. On the admin side, you can bulk generate invoices from the Orders list and export them in machine-readable XML from the reports export screen. It suits shops selling eBooks, software, courses and similar files.
