What it does
Most digital stores rely on site-wide emails, so a customer who bought an ebook gets the same message as someone who bought a software tool. That makes it hard to send follow-up information that actually applies to what each person purchased. This extension adds product-level notifications to Easy Digital Downloads, so each product can have its own email content. You can use these messages for delivery details, announcements about new features, usage tips or news about upcoming promotions for a given product.
You write and edit the notification templates yourself, adjusting the wording to match your brand and the product in question. Notifications can be sent automatically at specific purchase milestones or time intervals, which keeps communication consistent without sending each email by hand. Everything is managed from a central dashboard inside your existing Easy Digital Downloads setup. The extension also includes reporting so you can see how notifications perform, works on multilingual sites, and is built with data privacy rules such as GDPR in mind.
