What it does
Customers lose receipt emails all the time. They delete them by accident, they land in spam, or the buyer simply needs the details months later. When that happens, the store owner usually has to dig up the order and reply by hand. This add-on gives you a direct way to resend the original purchase receipt from within your Easy Digital Downloads setup, so the request takes a moment to handle.
The plugin works inside the existing Easy Digital Downloads environment and sends the same receipt your store already produces, using your current system. You can review past transaction receipts to confirm the order before resending. It also includes a resend form shortcode, [edd_resend_form], which you can place on a page, including in the block editor, so customers can request their own receipt. It works with whatever payment methods your store already uses.
