What it does

Directory visitors often open listing after listing in separate tabs, trying to remember which hotel had parking or which service listed a lower price. This addon gives them a compare button on listings and a single table that lines up the details they care about. You choose which fields appear, so a classifieds site, an accommodation directory and an events directory can each show the information that makes sense for their listings.

The comparison can open in a lightbox, so users stay on the page they were browsing. Their selections are kept in browser storage as they move between pages, without cookies or sessions. A dedicated comparison page is created for you, each result has its own shareable URL, and the compare button can be placed with a shortcode, widget or block and styled to match your site. It requires the GeoDirectory plugin.
