What it does

Adding business listings by hand is slow, and visitors who submit their own business often give up partway through a long form. This addon cuts that work down. You paste the public URL of a business page, and the plugin pulls in details such as the title, description, hours, address, GPS coordinates, categories, tags, images, videos, logo, phone number, email, website and social links. It works by parsing the public page directly, so you skip API key setup and permissions for these imports.

The plugin runs on top of GeoDirectory, so it fits sites already built on that directory system. Imports happen one listing at a time on demand, which keeps each entry under your control instead of relying on bulk automated imports. If you connect a Google My Business account, you can import listings from Google as well. There is also an optional feature for posting submitted listings to Facebook or Google Business Listing Posts, which does require API setup.
