What’s new in GP eCommerce Fields 1.2.45

Version 1.2.45 · Oct 7, 2026 Latest
  • FixedFixed issue where a form could freeze when a field's conditional logic depended on the Total, and where eCommerce fields set to hidden visibility were not applied to the Total when shown by animated conditional logic on Gravity Forms 3.1.3 and newer.
  • FixedFixed eCommerce Fields set to hidden visibility not respecting conditional logic on Gravity Forms 3.1.3 and newer.

What it does

Gravity Forms can take payments, but order forms often need more than a product list and a total. You may need to charge tax, apply a discount when a customer picks a certain option, or show a subtotal before extra charges are added. This add-on fills those gaps with new pricing fields that sit inside your forms, which suits sites selling products, services or subscriptions through forms instead of a cart system.

Setup happens inside the Gravity Forms admin you already use. You drop in Discount, Tax or Subtotal fields, choose flat or percentage values, and decide whether tax applies to the whole order or to specific products. The existing Coupons and Shipping fields are adjusted to work alongside the new fields, and special merge tags let you use subtotals, discounts and taxes in your own calculations. A redesigned order summary then shows customers a clear breakdown of every pricing component.

  • Sites selling products or services through Gravity Forms
  • Businesses needing tax and discounts without a shopping cart
  • Developers building custom pricing logic in order forms

Features

Discount, tax and subtotal fields

Add three new pricing fields to any form so you can build order structures that go beyond a simple product total.

Percentage tax options

Apply percentage-based tax to the entire order or limit it to specific products, depending on what you sell and how it is taxed.

Conditional discounts

Offer flat or percentage discounts that can apply conditionally, based on the choices a customer makes in the form or other criteria.

Pre-charge subtotals

Show a subtotal before taxes, shipping and discounts are applied, so customers can follow how their final price is reached.

Coupon and shipping compatibility

The built-in Gravity Forms Coupons and Shipping fields are adjusted to work correctly alongside the new Discount, Tax and Subtotal fields.

Merge tags for calculations

Use dedicated merge tags for subtotals, discounts and taxes inside the Gravity Forms calculation engine to create your own pricing logic.

Redesigned order summary

A cleaner order summary lists every pricing component in an easy-to-read breakdown, helping buyers check their order before submitting.

One-click preview

Test your pricing fields and order summary with a single click to confirm everything adds up correctly before the form goes live.

Questions about GP eCommerce Fields

Do I need Gravity Forms to use this?

Yes. This is an add-on for Gravity Forms. It adds new pricing fields to the form builder and works with Gravity Forms' existing Coupons and Shipping fields, so it depends on Gravity Forms being active on your site.

Can I charge tax on only some products?

Yes. The Tax field uses percentage-based rates, and you can apply it either to the entire order or to specific products. That lets you handle forms where some items are taxable and others are not.

Can discounts depend on what the customer selects?

Yes. Discounts can be flat amounts or percentages, and they can be applied conditionally based on user selections or other criteria. This makes it possible to reward certain options or order combinations directly inside the form.

Can I use the subtotal or tax amount in my own calculations?

Yes. GP eCommerce Fields provides merge tags for subtotals, discounts and taxes that plug into the Gravity Forms calculation engine, so you can reference those values when building custom pricing formulas.

Is GP eCommerce Fields free?

The code of GP eCommerce Fields is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.

Which version of GP eCommerce Fields is this?

Version 1.2.45, released Oct 7, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.

How do I update GP eCommerce Fields?

Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of GP eCommerce Fields automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
