GP Post Content Merge Tags
GP Post Content Merge Tags is a Gravity Forms add-on plugin from Gravity Wiz. It lets you use Gravity Forms merge tags directly inside WordPress post content, so a page can display data a visitor just submitted, such as their name, address or any other field.

What’s new in GP Post Content Merge Tags 1.3.24
- FixedFixed issue where post content merge tags were not replaced on Page/Redirect confirmations when the entry was deleted by GP Disable Entry Creation.
What it does
Gravity Forms confirmations usually live inside each form's settings, which gets hard to manage when a site has many forms. This plugin lets you send visitors to a regular WordPress page and fill that page with their submitted data using merge tags. You can build one styled confirmation page and point several forms at it, and the content adapts to the entry that was submitted. That saves you from maintaining a separate confirmation page for every form.
It works through the Gravity Forms confirmation settings you already know, and a merge tag button in the post editor helps you insert tags while writing. Global merge tags match fields across multiple forms, and an [eid] shortcode places entry data anywhere shortcodes run. Confirmation pages can also be persistent, so you can link visitors back to them by email, while encrypted URLs help protect the entry data behind those links.
Best for
- Sites running many Gravity Forms that need shared confirmations
- Developers building personalized post-submission pages
- Businesses emailing customers links to their confirmation details
Features
Use the full set of default Gravity Forms merge tags in post content to pull submitted entry data straight into a page or post.
A button in the post editor lets you pick and insert merge tags without typing them by hand, including in Paragraph blocks in the Block Editor.
Merge tags work in standard posts and pages and also in any custom post type registered on your site.
Global merge tags match fields across multiple forms, so a single confirmation page can serve many different forms at once.
Display specific entry data anywhere shortcodes are supported, which lets you place submission details outside of the main post content.
The {pretty_entry_id} merge tag inserts a formatted entry ID, giving you a safer and cleaner way to reference a form submission.
Confirmation URLs are encrypted, helping protect entry data when visitors revisit or share a persistent confirmation page.

Questions about GP Post Content Merge Tags
Can one confirmation page work for several forms?
Yes. You can redirect multiple forms to a single page, and global merge tags help match similar fields across those forms. The page then shows the data from whichever entry the visitor submitted, so you only have one page to design and maintain.
Can visitors return to their confirmation page later?
Yes. The plugin supports persistent confirmation pages, so you can link people back to their personalized confirmation, for example in a notification email. The confirmation URLs are encrypted to help keep the underlying entry data protected.
Does it require Gravity Forms?
Yes. It extends Gravity Forms by letting its merge tags work in WordPress post content, and it is configured through the existing Gravity Forms confirmation settings. You need Gravity Forms running on your site to use it.
Can I show entry data outside of regular posts and pages?
You can. Merge tags work in any custom post type as well as standard posts and pages. The [eid] shortcode also lets you display specific entry data anywhere shortcodes are supported on your site.
Is GP Post Content Merge Tags free?
The code of GP Post Content Merge Tags is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of GP Post Content Merge Tags is this?
Version 1.3.24, released Oct 15, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update GP Post Content Merge Tags?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of GP Post Content Merge Tags automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
