What it does
Static forms fall out of date fast. If your dropdowns list posts, users or categories, you usually have to edit them by hand every time that content changes. This plugin connects form fields directly to a data source, so choices and values come from your current WordPress content. You can filter that data based on what a visitor picks in other fields, which lets you build chained dropdowns, filtered preference selectors and registration forms that adapt as they are filled in.
Setup happens in the field settings. You pick a data source, add filters, and shape the value and label templates to control what users see. A results preview in the admin shows exactly what will appear before you publish. Live Merge Tags extend the dynamic data beyond choices, placing updated information in labels, descriptions, values and HTML content. Because visitors choose from existing records instead of typing, submissions tend to contain fewer errors and inconsistencies.
Best for
- Gravity Forms sites needing dropdowns filled from live content
- Builders creating chained or filtered selection forms
- Sites running registration forms tied to user data

Questions about GP Populate Anything
Do I need Gravity Forms to use this plugin?
Yes. It is a Gravity Perks addon that works inside Gravity Forms. It adds dynamic population options to your form fields, letting them pull choices and values from WordPress content or database tables.
Where can the plugin pull data from?
It can use posts, users, taxonomies, terms and existing Gravity Forms entries through built-in data sources. It can also connect directly to your WordPress database to populate choices from custom or specialized tables.
Can one field change based on what someone picks in another field?
Yes. Dynamic filtering lets a field's data depend on selections or input in other fields. This is how you build chained selects, where each dropdown narrows its options based on the previous choice.
Can dynamic data appear outside of field choices?
Yes. Live Merge Tags place automatically updating data in field labels, descriptions, choices, values and HTML content, so text throughout the form can reflect what the visitor has entered or selected.
Is GP Populate Anything free?
The code of GP Populate Anything is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of GP Populate Anything is this?

How do I update GP Populate Anything?
