What’s new in GP Email Validator 1.1

Version 1.1 · Oct 6, 2026 Latest
  • ImprovedImproved how provider meta is registered to improve compatibility with conditional logic.
  • NewAdded ClearBounce as a validator service.
  • FixedFixed a PHP 8.5 deprecation notice that appeared when the plugin settings had not been saved yet.

What it does

Forms collect plenty of bad email addresses: typos, missing characters, throwaway inboxes and outright fake entries. Each one becomes a contact you can't reach, and a list full of them leads to bounced messages and messy records. This add-on checks addresses at the point of entry, so people are prompted to fix mistakes before the form is submitted and invalid or disposable addresses are filtered out rather than saved to your entries.

It works inside your existing Gravity Forms setup, so you can turn validation on without rebuilding forms or writing code. Validation rules can be adjusted to match what each form needs, and it handles forms with more than one email field. Validator services such as ClearBounce can be used for checking addresses, and it works alongside conditional logic. It suits newsletter signups, contact and inquiry forms, event registrations and any form that feeds a CRM or email marketing tool.

Best for

  • Gravity Forms sites collecting newsletter signups
  • Businesses feeding form entries into a CRM or email tool
  • Agencies building lead and registration forms for clients

Features

Real-time format validation

Catches typos and incorrectly formatted email addresses as people fill in the form, so mistakes can be corrected before the entry is submitted.

Invalid and disposable filtering

Filters out invalid and disposable email addresses, which helps keep fake or throwaway contacts out of your entries and reduces bounced messages.

Customizable validation rules

Adjust the verification criteria to fit the requirements of each form and the audience filling it in, rather than applying one fixed check everywhere.

Multiple email fields

Validates every email field in a form, so forms that ask for more than one address are checked wherever an email input appears.

Works with your current forms

Adds validation to existing Gravity Forms without disrupting your form setup, so you can turn it on for forms you already use.

No coding required

Setup and configuration happen through settings, which makes it practical for site owners who are not developers and don't want to edit code.

ClearBounce validator service

ClearBounce is available as a validator service for checking whether submitted email addresses are valid.

Conditional logic compatibility

Validation provider data is registered in a way that works with Gravity Forms conditional logic, so you can build form behavior around validation results.

Questions about GP Email Validator

Does this work with forms I've already built?

Yes. It integrates with Gravity Forms and lets you enable email validation without disrupting your current form setup, so you can add it to existing forms instead of rebuilding them. You will need Gravity Forms on your site, since this is a Gravity Perks add-on.

Can it block disposable email addresses?

Yes. Along with catching typos and formatting errors, it filters out invalid and disposable email addresses. That helps keep throwaway inboxes out of your entries and keeps the list you collect focused on contacts you can actually reach.

What if my form has more than one email field?

It supports multiple email fields within a single form. Each email input is validated, so forms that collect, for example, a primary and a secondary address or a contact and a referral email are checked in every field.

Do I need to know how to code to set it up?

No coding is required. Validation is configured through settings, and the rules can be customized to fit each form's requirements, which makes it workable for non-technical site owners as well as developers.

Is GP Email Validator free?

The code of GP Email Validator is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.

Which version of GP Email Validator is this?

Version 1.1, released Oct 6, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.

How do I update GP Email Validator?

Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of GP Email Validator automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
