What’s new in GP Terms of Service 1.4.10
- FixedFixed an issue where multi-page navigation, particularly with AJAX enabled, became progressively slower on forms with multiple Terms of Service fields using "Require Full Scroll".
What it does
Many forms need a clear record that the person filling them out agreed to something: a booking policy, a rental contract or a set of service terms. A plain checkbox with a link is easy to skip past. This plugin gives Gravity Forms a proper Terms of Service field that displays the full text inside the form, so visitors can read it in place, and requires their agreement before the form goes through.
You can write the terms directly in the field using HTML and shortcodes, or pull in the content of an existing terms page so you only maintain one version. If you want to make sure people actually see the whole text, you can require them to scroll to the end before the checkbox becomes available. The terms can also be added to confirmation messages and email notifications through merge tag modifiers, and the field works with Gravity Forms conditional logic, keyboard navigation and WPML.
Best for
- Booking and reservation sites built on Gravity Forms
- Businesses collecting signed rental or service agreements
- Multilingual sites running WPML with Gravity Forms
Features
Add a Terms of Service field to any Gravity Form, with the text in a scrollable window and a required checkbox for user consent.
Optionally make users scroll through the entire terms text before they are able to check the agreement box, so consent is given after reading.
Use merge tag modifiers to include the Terms of Service text in form confirmation messages and email notifications, keeping a copy with each submission's communication.
Format terms with styled text and links, or place shortcodes inside the field to bring in dynamic content where you need it.
Embed the content of the Terms of Service page already on your site directly in the form, so you avoid keeping duplicate copies in sync.
Show or hide the terms checkbox automatically using Gravity Forms conditional logic, so the agreement appears only when the form answers call for it.
The field supports keyboard navigation and is compatible with WPML, which helps when your forms serve visitors in more than one language.
Pick from multiple field sizes and adjust the styles so the terms window fits the look of your site and form layout.

Questions about GP Terms of Service
Do I need Gravity Forms to use this?
Yes. This is an add-on built for Gravity Forms. It adds a new Terms of Service field to the Gravity Forms editor, so you need Gravity Forms running on your site to place the field in your forms.
Can I make sure people read the terms before agreeing?
You can turn on an option that requires users to scroll through the entire terms text before the agreement checkbox can be checked. It is optional, so you can leave it off for shorter or simpler terms.
Can I use the terms page I already have on my site?
Yes. You can embed your existing Terms of Service page content directly in the form field. That way you keep one source for your terms instead of maintaining a separate copy inside each form.
Will the terms be included in the emails users receive?
They can be. Using merge tag modifiers, you can add the Terms of Service text to email notifications and to the confirmation message shown after submission, so users have a record of what they agreed to.
Is GP Terms of Service free?
The code of GP Terms of Service is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of GP Terms of Service is this?
Version 1.4.10, released Sep 17, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update GP Terms of Service?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of GP Terms of Service automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
