What it does
LearnDash handles courses, lessons and quizzes well, but many training sites also use SCORM or xAPI modules built in authoring tools. Tracking that activity usually means paying for an outside Learning Record Store and checking two places for results. This plugin brings the LRS into WordPress, so module statements, course progress and quiz results sit together in one reporting system that administrators and group leaders can open from the dashboard or on the front end.
You upload SCORM, xAPI and H5P modules from the WordPress editor, choose how they appear (iframe, lightbox or new window) and set protection so content is not shared outside your site. Module activity can control when LearnDash marks lessons and courses complete. The reporting also works for sites that never use SCORM or xAPI, with summary and drill-down reports on courses, lessons, topics and quizzes, including question-level analysis.
Best for
- LearnDash sites delivering SCORM or xAPI training modules
- Corporate training teams with group leaders tracking learners
- Course creators wanting detailed quiz and question analysis

See learning trends, course completions and xAPI statement activity at a glance from a widget on the WordPress admin dashboard.

Questions about LearnDash Reporting
Do I need a separate Learning Record Store to track xAPI content?
No. The plugin includes its own Learning Record Store that runs inside WordPress, so SCORM and xAPI activity is recorded and reported alongside your LearnDash data without an external LRS or third-party platform.
Is it useful if I only use regular LearnDash courses?
Yes. Even without SCORM or xAPI modules, you get added reporting on courses, lessons, topics and quizzes, including quiz review and question analysis, plus the admin dashboard widget for quick progress checks.
Can people other than administrators see the reports?
Group leaders can access front-end reports on the learners they support. A filter also lets site owners define which user roles can reach the reporting features in the admin area, instead of limiting them to administrators.
Which authoring tools does Tin Canny LearnDash Reporting work with?
It is compatible with content from Articulate Storyline, Rise and Presenter, Adobe Captivate, iSpring, Camtasia, Elucidat and Adapt, along with H5P modules uploaded through the WordPress editor.
Is LearnDash Reporting free?
The code of LearnDash Reporting is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of LearnDash Reporting is this?
Version 5.1.1, released Oct 24, 2025. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update LearnDash Reporting?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of LearnDash Reporting automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
