What it does
If you sell courses with LearnPress, you need a way to take payments that feels trustworthy to students. Sending people off to an outside payment page can feel disjointed. This add-on keeps the checkout on your own site and processes the transaction through Stripe, so students enter their details and enroll in one place. It requires the LearnPress plugin and works as an extension of it, adding Stripe as a payment option for your courses.
Setup happens in the WordPress admin dashboard, where you enter your Stripe API keys to connect your account. From there, students can pay with major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or one of over 40 localized payment methods such as Bancontact, Boleto, Cash App Pay and SEPA Direct Debit. That range is useful if you teach an international audience who prefer paying the way they do locally.
