- NewEventbrite event descriptions now include the full Overview content together with the summary.

What it does
Keeping an event calendar current gets tedious when your events live on several platforms. Copying each listing by hand from Google Calendar, Facebook, Meetup or Eventbrite takes time and invites mistakes. This addon connects those accounts to Modern Events Calendar so the events can be pulled in directly. You can connect several accounts per platform, preview the available events with their start and end times, and pick which ones to bring over based on status and date range.
Once the sources are set up, imports can run on a schedule, so new events reach your calendar without manual work. Imported events can be assigned to MEC categories as they arrive. Beyond the major platforms, the addon reads ICS and CSV files from a URL or a local file, imports from four additional third-party event plugins, and transfers events from one MEC site to another. An import history list and live logs show what happened during each run.
Best for
- Event organizers posting events on Meetup, Eventbrite or Facebook
- Sites already running Modern Events Calendar
- Agencies managing events across several MEC websites
Features
Connect more than one account for each supported platform, such as Google, Facebook, Meetup or Eventbrite, and gather events from all of them into a single MEC calendar.
Filter which events come in by event status and by start and end dates, so only the listings you want show up on your calendar.
See a full list of available events with their start and end times before importing, which lets you check accuracy and skip anything irrelevant.
Set imports to run on a planned schedule so your calendar picks up new events from connected sources without you starting each import by hand.
Move events from one WordPress site running Modern Events Calendar to another, which helps when you manage events across several websites.
Import events from ICS or CSV files, either from an external URL or a file on your computer, including ICS feeds that use Outlook Windows timezone names.
Assign imported events to specific categories in your MEC calendar so listings stay organized and visitors can browse them easily.
Review past imports in one list and follow detailed logs while an import runs, making it easier to track progress and spot problems.
