What it does
Event sites often send users into the WordPress admin or leave them hunting through emails to find their tickets. This add-on gives every registered user a dedicated dashboard on the front end of the site instead. Attendees see their purchased tickets and registrations in one place and can cancel a ticket right away. Organizers and Speakers can update their own profiles and related details without needing access to the back end, and people who hold both roles can complete each profile from the same screen.
You place the dashboard anywhere on your site with its own shortcode, and a separate shortcode creates a quick login page. A general settings page lets you decide which dashboard sections appear. You can also require login before anyone books a ticket, or add a public login option in booking settings. Other tools include front-end event submission, attendee list exports in several Excel formats, and Google Maps locations with directions for attendees. It fits sites already running Modern Events Calendar that want users to handle more on their own.
Best for
- Websites already running Modern Events Calendar
- Event organizers selling tickets to registered users
- Community calendars that accept user-submitted events
Features
Embed the user dashboard on any page with a dedicated shortcode, so you choose where it appears and how it fits your site layout.
Users can view all the tickets they have purchased and cancel a ticket instantly from their dashboard, giving them direct control over attendance.
Users assigned the Organizer or Speaker role can edit their profiles and related details from the front end, including people who hold both roles.
Require users to log in before booking tickets, so only registered users can make reservations. A public login option can also be added in booking settings.
Let users submit events through the dashboard interface, so contributors can add events without working in the WordPress admin area.
Export event participant lists in multiple Excel formats, which helps with check-in, tracking and following up with attendees after an event.
Show event locations on interactive Google Maps and give attendees directions to the venue directly from their dashboard.
Use a general settings page to manage which sections of the user dashboard are shown, and offer a quick login page through its own shortcode.

Questions about MEC User Dashboard
Does this work without Modern Events Calendar?
No. MEC User Dashboard is an add-on built for the Modern Events Calendar plugin. It extends that calendar with front-end dashboard pages for registered users, so you need Modern Events Calendar running on your site to use it.
Can attendees cancel their own tickets?
Yes. Users can see all their purchased tickets in the dashboard and cancel a ticket instantly from there. This lets attendees manage their own bookings without contacting you to make the change.
Can organizers and speakers update their own information?
Yes. Users assigned the Organizer or Speaker role can edit their profiles and related details from the front-end dashboard. If a user holds both roles, they can complete and maintain each profile in the same place.
Can I stop guests from booking tickets without an account?
Yes. You can enable forced login so only registered users can book tickets. There is also a public login option you can add within booking settings for all tickets, depending on how you want access to work.
Is MEC User Dashboard free?
The code of MEC User Dashboard is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of MEC User Dashboard is this?
Version 2.1.0, released Oct 4, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update MEC User Dashboard?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of MEC User Dashboard automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
