- NewCompatibility: WordPress 7.1.
- ImprovedCustomiser: Panels and options rendering logic for improved Customizer speed.
What it does
On long pages, visitors often lose sight of the menu and logo as soon as they start scrolling. This plugin fixes the header to the top of the screen so navigation links stay within reach. It works with the standard OceanWP header layouts, and for custom headers there is a manual stick option that lets you fix specific elements, such as the navigation, instead of the whole header. It requires the OceanWP theme.
You can pick between a shrink style, where the header gets shorter as users scroll, and a fixed style that stays at full size. Two effects, slide and show up/hide down, control how the header appears and hides. You can swap in a second logo during scrolling, adjust opacity, background and colors on scroll, fix the top bar separately, and turn the sticky header on or off for individual pages and posts. Mobile devices are supported too.
Best for
- Websites built on the OceanWP theme
- Content-heavy sites with long scrolling pages
- Freelancers and agencies building OceanWP client sites
Features
Choose a header that reduces in size as visitors scroll, or one that stays fully fixed at its normal height at the top of the screen.
Pick a slide animation or a show up/hide down effect to control how the header appears and disappears while visitors move through a page.
Fix specific parts of a custom header, such as the navigation, so only the elements you choose stay pinned during scrolling.
Add a secondary or alternate logo that replaces your main logo once the header becomes sticky, with support for retina images and SVG uploads.
Set how tall the header becomes when it shrinks, and adjust its opacity, background and colors while visitors scroll.
Keep the top bar fixed on its own, so details like contact information or social icons remain visible on screen.
Enable or disable the sticky header on individual pages and posts when certain layouts work better without it.
Keep the header sticky on mobile devices so navigation stays accessible for visitors browsing on phones and tablets.

Questions about Ocean Sticky Header
Does this work with themes other than OceanWP?
It is built specifically for the OceanWP theme and requires it to run. If your site uses a different theme, this plugin is not the right fit.
Can I make only part of my custom header sticky?
Yes. The manual stick option for custom headers lets you fix specific elements, such as the navigation, so you decide which parts stay pinned while visitors scroll and which scroll away.
Can I turn off the sticky header on certain pages?
Yes. There are per page and per post settings that let you enable or disable the sticky header, which helps on landing pages or layouts where a pinned header would get in the way.
Which languages are included?
The plugin includes Polish, Spanish and French translations, so its interface can be used in those languages as well as English.
Is Ocean Sticky Header free?
The code of Ocean Sticky Header is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Ocean Sticky Header is this?
Version 2.2.5, released Aug 18, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update Ocean Sticky Header?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Ocean Sticky Header automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
What does Ocean Sticky Header need?
Ocean Sticky Header needs OceanWP installed and active.
