- NewCompatibility: WordPress 7.1.
What it does
When you build client sites on OceanWP, the admin area carries the theme's own name, author link, screenshot and news widgets. Agencies and freelancers often want clients to see their brand there instead. This extension handles that rebranding from inside the OceanWP Theme Panel, where you can set a custom theme name, author, author URL, description and screenshot.
Beyond renaming, it lets you hide OceanWP elements that clients do not need to see. You can remove the White Label box from the Theme Panel, hide the Themes section in the customizer, disable the OceanWP News and Updates dashboard widget and hide the Theme Panel sidebar. The result is a cleaner back end that keeps the theme's features while presenting your own identity on every admin page.
Best for
- Agencies building client sites on the OceanWP theme
- Freelance developers who want their brand in the admin
- Businesses wanting a custom-branded WordPress back end
Features
Add your own branding name across all admin pages so the dashboard consistently reflects your business or project instead of the default theme name.
Change the theme name shown in WordPress to match your brand or the client project you are building.
Replace the theme author and author link with your own business or developer details so credit points back to you.
Write your own theme description to give clients tailored information about the theme powering their site.
Swap the default theme screenshot for your own image, so the Themes screen shows your branding.
Remove the White Label box from the Theme Panel once your settings are done, keeping the rebranding options out of client view.
Disable the OceanWP News and Updates widget and hide the Theme Panel sidebar for a simpler, less cluttered admin area.
Hide the Themes section in the customizer to avoid confusion, since the theme name is managed through the white label settings.

Questions about Ocean White Label
Does this work with any WordPress theme?
No. It is built as an extension for the OceanWP theme and works through the OceanWP Theme Panel, so you need OceanWP active on the site to use its rebranding options.
What branding details can I change?
You can set a custom branding name on admin pages, along with the theme name, theme author, author URL, theme description and theme screenshot. Together these replace the default OceanWP identity shown in the WordPress admin.
Can I hide the white label settings from my clients?
Yes. You can remove the White Label box from the Theme Panel, which keeps the rebranding options out of sight. You can also hide the Theme Panel sidebar and the customizer Themes section.

Yes. The plugin lets you disable the OceanWP News and Updates widget on the WordPress dashboard, which keeps the admin area focused on your client's site rather than theme announcements.
