What it does
Affiliates often want to know the moment a referral lands, yet the only way to find out is usually to sign in to the affiliate area and look. This add-on sends the news to them instead. It uses Pushover, a push notification app for iOS and Android, to deliver an alert to the affiliate's own device whenever a referral is credited. That gives your affiliates a quick, steady signal that their promotion is working.
Setup is split between you and your affiliates. As the site administrator, you enter a Pushover Application key once in the AffiliateWP settings. Each affiliate then adds their personal Pushover User Key to their affiliate profile, which ties the alerts to their device. It fits WordPress sites already running an affiliate program on AffiliateWP that want a simple way to keep affiliates informed, and documentation is included for both sides of the setup.
