What it does
Renting out a cabin or villa usually means juggling listing platforms, calendars and payment tools. This theme brings those jobs into one WordPress site. Each property gets a detailed listing with photos, amenities, room features, descriptions and extra services. Guests search real-time availability, pick check-in and check-out dates right in the calendar and book through a built-in form. Payments can go through gateways such as PayPal and Stripe, with the option to take the full amount or a deposit.
Behind the scenes, the booking system handles unlimited properties. iCal sync connects your calendars with travel platforms like Airbnb to help prevent double bookings, and imported bookings appear in the admin calendar. You can set seasonal rates, weekly and monthly discounts, stay length limits and occupancy-based pricing. Confirmations can be automatic, manual or tied to payment, and built-in stats track bookings and revenue. Optional add-ons cover PDF invoices, reviews, multi-currency, WooCommerce payment gateways and Mailchimp.
Best for
- Owners of vacation cabins, chalets, villas or holiday homes
- Managers running several rental properties under one brand
- Hosts who want direct bookings alongside Airbnb listings

Questions about Mountainview
Can I manage more than one rental property with this theme?
Yes. The integrated MotoPress Hotel Booking plugin supports unlimited properties, so you can run a site for a single cabin or a whole portfolio of rentals. Each property gets its own listing with photos, amenities, descriptions and extra services.
Will it keep my calendar in sync with Airbnb?
The theme includes an OTA channel manager with iCal sync that connects your calendars with platforms such as Airbnb. This helps prevent double bookings, and bookings imported from those platforms can be viewed in the admin calendar.
How do guests pay for their stay?
Guests can pay online through gateways such as PayPal and Stripe. You decide whether to collect the full amount or a deposit, and you can set confirmations to happen automatically, manually or once payment is made.
Can I charge different rates at different times of year?
Yes. You can set custom rates for peak seasons, weekends or special periods, add weekly and monthly discounts for longer stays, and use occupancy-based pricing so the rate reflects how many guests are booking.
Is Mountainview free?
The code of Mountainview is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Mountainview is this?
Version 1.6.2, released Feb 10, 2023. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update Mountainview?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Mountainview automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
