What it does
Running a property website usually means pairing a theme with a separate booking tool and hoping they look right together. This theme handles both jobs. It suits villas, apartments, hostels, hotels and resorts, and it includes the MotoPress Hotel Booking plugin for managing listings, availability calendars, seasonal pricing and online payments. Guests can search for open dates, filter accommodations by their preferences and book directly, while you keep track of reservations from your WordPress dashboard.
Design changes happen in the native WordPress Customizer, where you can set up a front page header with a video or image, turn on a sticky menu and adjust colors and menus without writing code. You can pick a wide or boxed layout and use page templates such as full width, sidebar or grid. The layout is responsive, so browsing and booking work on phones as well as desktops. Multi-language and multi-currency support helps if many of your guests come from abroad.
Best for
- Hotels and resorts taking direct online reservations

Questions about Oceanica
Do I need a separate booking plugin with this theme?
No. The theme comes bundled with the MotoPress Hotel Booking plugin, which handles property listings, availability calendars, seasonal pricing, booking rules, online payments and automated email confirmations, so reservations are part of the site from the start.
Which payment methods can guests use?
Guests can pay online through PayPal, Stripe, 2Checkout and other supported gateways. You can also offer an offline option that lets guests pay when they arrive, which gives travelers some flexibility in how they settle their stay.
Can I change the design without coding?
Yes. The native WordPress Customizer lets you adjust layouts, colors and menus, add a video or image header to the front page and enable a sticky menu. You can also switch between wide and boxed layouts and use full width, sidebar or grid templates.
Will it work for a property with international guests?
It includes multi-language and multi-currency support, so you can present translated content and show prices in different currencies. Combined with the responsive layout, guests can browse and book comfortably on desktop or mobile.
Is Oceanica free?

Which version of Oceanica is this?
Version 2.2.3, released Feb 28, 2023. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update Oceanica?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Oceanica automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
