What it does
Selling courses to an international audience gets harder when your checkout only works well in a few countries. This add-on brings 2Checkout into LearnPress, so students in over 200 countries and territories can pay in a range of currencies using major credit and debit cards. That opens your courses to learners in markets such as India, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, China, Israel and Southeast Asia.
Setup happens inside your WordPress dashboard. You connect your 2Checkout account by entering your API credentials in the LearnPress settings. Payments are processed off-site on 2Checkout's PCI-compliant infrastructure, so card details are handled by the gateway. When a payment is confirmed, the student is enrolled in the course right away, which cuts down on manual enrollment work for small tutoring businesses and larger e-learning sites alike. Step-by-step documentation walks you through configuration.
Best for
- LearnPress course sites selling to international students
- Online tutors who want automatic enrollment after payment
- E-learning platforms needing multi-currency card payments

Questions about 2checkout Payment
Do I need LearnPress for this to work?
Yes. This is an add-on for the LearnPress LMS plugin, so LearnPress must be running on your WordPress site. It adds 2Checkout as a payment method for the courses you sell through LearnPress.
Are students enrolled automatically after they pay?
Yes. As soon as 2Checkout confirms a successful payment, the student is enrolled in the course. You do not need to approve or add them manually, which saves time as enrollments grow.
Is card information stored on my website?
Payments are processed off-site through 2Checkout's PCI-compliant infrastructure. The gateway handles the card details during checkout, which keeps that sensitive data away from your WordPress site.
Can students in other countries pay in their own currency?
The add-on supports multiple currencies and accepts payments from students in over 200 countries and territories, including India, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, China, Israel and Southeast Asia, using major credit and debit cards.
Is 2checkout Payment free?
The code of 2checkout Payment is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of 2checkout Payment is this?
Version 4.0.2, released Apr 22, 2025. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update 2checkout Payment?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of 2checkout Payment automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
What does 2checkout Payment need?
2checkout Payment needs LearnPress installed and active.
