What it does
Many nonprofits collect donations in one place and run email outreach in another, which leaves staff copying donor details by hand or letting contacts slip through. This add-on closes that gap for sites running GiveWP. When a donor checks the opt-in box on a donation form, their details are subscribed to your chosen ActiveCampaign lists and tagged automatically, so they are ready for follow-up emails and automation sequences without manual exports. It requires the GiveWP plugin.
You decide how the opt-in looks and behaves. The checkbox text is fully editable, and you can set the box to be checked or unchecked by default to match opt-in rules in your region and your donors' preferences. Lists and tags can be assigned globally or per form, so a campaign-specific form can feed its own segment. Each donor's opt-in status is also recorded in the GiveWP database, and the add-on works with the GiveWP visual donation form builder. No coding is needed to set it up.
