What it does
Many donation setups send people off to an external payment page to finish giving. This add-on keeps the whole process on your site instead. Once connected to your Braintree.com account, your GiveWP donation forms can take credit card payments directly, and the donation records stay inside GiveWP alongside the rest of your fundraising data. That gives donors a consistent experience and gives you one place to review gifts.
The gateway accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB and Diners Club. Braintree works in more than 40 countries and supports over 130 currencies, which helps organizations that take gifts from donors abroad. Payment security relies on Braintree's PCI compliance and fraud prevention measures, and funds can be paid out in as little as two days. If a card payment fails, the donor is notified so they know the gift did not go through.
