What it does
Fundraising sites in India often need payment options that local donors actually use, such as UPI, net banking and wallets, alongside regular cards. This add-on brings Razorpay into GiveWP so those methods appear right on your donation forms. You connect it with your Razorpay API keys, and donors complete their gift in a responsive popup on your site instead of being sent to a separate payment page. If a payment fails, the popup offers a retry button so the donor can try again without starting over.
The gateway fits organizations already running GiveWP that want Razorpay as their processor. It handles one-time gifts and also works with recurring donations when the GiveWP recurring donations add-on is active. Payment processing is PCI DSS compliant on the Razorpay side, so card details are handled there. You can match the checkout to your organization by setting a logo and colors, and phone numbers can be pre-filled to save donors a step. Payments verify on the server before a donation is confirmed.
