What it does
Many nonprofits collect donations in one place and manage their newsletter in another, which leaves donor emails sitting outside the mailing list. This add-on closes that gap for sites running the GiveWP donation plugin. It places an optional newsletter sign-up checkbox on your donation forms, and donors who check it are subscribed to the Constant Contact lists you have picked. That gives you a simple way to keep in touch with people after their first gift and share news about your work.
Setup happens in the plugin settings, where you connect your Constant Contact account. From there you choose default mailing lists for every form, or set different lists on individual forms so donors to a specific campaign or cause land in the right audience. You can subscribe donors to one list or several at once. The checkbox label can be written globally or changed per form, so the wording matches each campaign.

Does this work without GiveWP?
No. Give Constant Contact is an add-on for the GiveWP donation plugin, so you need GiveWP running on your site. It adds Constant Contact newsletter opt-in options to the donation forms GiveWP creates.
Can donors on different forms join different mailing lists?
Yes. You can set mailing lists globally for all forms, then choose different lists on individual forms. That way donors to a specific campaign or cause are subscribed to the Constant Contact list that matches it.
Are donors added to my list automatically, or do they choose?
