What it does
Many nonprofits want donors to give without leaving the organization's website, and they want a payment processor that understands how charities operate. This add-on connects GiveWP to iATS Payments, a processor that offers dedicated nonprofit merchant accounts. Once connected, donors can pay with Visa, MasterCard, AMEX or Discover right on your donation forms, so the giving process stays on your own pages from start to finish.
Setup works through API keys from your iATS account, which you enter to link the two systems. After that, iATS handles the processing side: major card transactions are deposited to your bank account, typically within 24 to 48 hours, and you get access to a customer portal with transaction details, a virtual terminal, batch processing, reporting and adjustable fraud prevention controls. iATS also supports donations from over 100 countries in 21 currencies, which suits organizations with donors outside their home country.
