What it does
Many organizations collect money away from their website: a bake sale, a charity event, a check that arrives in the mail. Those gifts still need to be recorded, and keeping them in a separate spreadsheet makes reporting and reconciliation harder. This add-on gives you a form in the admin area for entering those contributions directly into GiveWP. No payment passes through a gateway, so you are simply logging a gift that has already been received.
Each manual entry works with the rest of GiveWP. You can attach it to an existing donor or create a new donor profile as you go, choose the exact date the gift was made, and decide whether donor and admin emails go out. Recurring donations can be set up manually too. Entries then appear in your GiveWP reports, transactions and logs, giving you one place to review offline and online giving together.

Yes. This is an add-on for GiveWP, the WordPress donation plugin. It adds manual donation entry to your existing GiveWP setup and uses its donor management, reports and email notifications.
Does entering a manual donation charge the donor?
No. Manual donations are recorded without processing a payment through a gateway. They are meant for gifts you have already received offline, such as cash at an event or a mailed check.
Can I record a gift that came in weeks ago?
Yes. You can choose any donation date, past or future, so the record reflects when the contribution actually happened. This keeps your reports accurate when you catch up on offline gifts later.
