What it does
Many nonprofits want to accept card donations without pushing donors off to an outside payment page, where some of them give up. This add-on solves that for GiveWP sites by processing donations through Paymill right on your own pages, with no redirects or iFrames. Donors fill out your form, enter their card details and finish the gift in one place, which keeps the giving process consistent with the rest of your site.
The gateway works inside the GiveWP plugin, so you need GiveWP running along with an active Paymill account. An SSL certificate on your site is recommended to encrypt data during transactions. Paymill accepts major cards including Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express, UnionPay and JCB, and supports over 100 currencies. Processing is PCI compliant and includes fraud protection, which makes it a practical fit for European charities and organizations collecting gifts from supporters in many countries.
