What it does

Fundraising sites need a dependable way to take payments without sending donors off to another page. This add-on requires GiveWP and links your forms to a Stripe account through the Stripe Connect button. Once connected, donors can pay by credit card right inside your donation forms, or you can use Stripe Checkout or a modal checkout instead. Strong Customer Authentication and 3D Secure 2.0 are supported, which helps with payment security and compliance requirements in regions that ask for them.

The plugin goes past basic card payments. It supports ACH Direct Debit with instant bank account verification, Apple Pay and Google Pay for mobile donors, and donations in more than 100 currencies from many countries. You can assign a different Stripe account to each form, which is handy when funds belong to separate programs. It also works with the GiveWP Recurring Donations add-on for ongoing gifts, and lets donors choose to cover the Stripe transaction fees.
