What it does
Accommodation sites collect a lot of guest emails, but moving them into a mailing list by hand is slow and easy to forget. This extension links your Hotel Booking reservations with Mailchimp audiences. When a booking is confirmed, paid or free, the guest can be subscribed automatically. You can show a customizable opt-in checkbox at checkout, use double opt-in confirmation, and switch automatic subscriptions on or off whenever you like.
Once guests are in Mailchimp, you can sort them with tags and segments based on interests such as discounts, events or destinations. Booking and e-commerce data syncs to Mailchimp, which lets you send abandoned cart reminders to visitors who did not finish a reservation and view booking history alongside campaign reports. You can also send booking receipts through Mailchimp, either alongside or in place of the default Hotel Booking emails, and import contacts from past reservations during setup.
