What it does
Appointment businesses often take bookings in one place and chase payments in another. This add-on brings payment into the booking flow itself, so a client who schedules a session can pay right then through Braintree. It works for deposits or full payments, and transactions can be tracked and reconciled from the LatePoint dashboard, which keeps booking records and payment records together.
Some payments happen outside a scheduled booking, such as an outstanding balance or a one-off charge. For those cases the add-on supports invoice payments and payment links, letting you send a payment request that a client opens and pays. Checkout supports 3D Secure authentication, accepts cards and digital wallets that work with Braintree, and uses responsive payment forms that fit phones, tablets and desktops.
