What it does
Appointment businesses often depend on clients remembering when they booked, and email alone can go unread. This add-on adds SMS to LatePoint, so the same booking events that already happen in your system can trigger text messages to clients. Confirmations go out when an appointment is made, reminders arrive ahead of time, and changes or cancellations are sent as they happen. Because the messages are automated, staff spend less time on routine follow-up calls and messages.
The connection runs through your own Twilio account. You add your Twilio Account SID and Auth Token in the LatePoint settings, then choose how messages appear to recipients. You can send from a Twilio phone number or, in countries that support it, from an alphanumeric sender ID such as your business name. It is built specifically for LatePoint and works with your existing appointment workflows, which makes it a natural fit for clinics, salons, consultancies and other client-facing services.
