What it does

Modern Events Calendar handles event listings and bookings, but once reservations start coming in, the raw data can be hard to read. This add-on collects those reservations, payments and attendee details into reports inside your dashboard. You can filter by date, event name, category, organizer or venue, then sort the results by booking date, order time or other criteria. That makes it simpler to answer everyday questions, like who signed up for a given event or how much a certain period brought in.

The reports include income statistics broken down by payment gateway, a sortable list of attendees, and two built-in charts that give a quick visual of sales, attendee numbers and payment method use. A summary view puts totals such as income and reservation counts in one place. When you need the data elsewhere, you can export it as CSV, XML or JSON, including per attendee fields, fixed fields, event locations, organizers and ticket names. It suits anyone running one event or many through Modern Events Calendar.

Questions about MEC Advanced Reports

Does this work without Modern Events Calendar?

No. It is built as an add-on for Modern Events Calendar and reports on reservations made through that plugin, so you need Modern Events Calendar running on your site for it to have any data to work with.

Can I see how much each payment gateway brought in?

Yes. The income statistics show your total earnings and also break income down by payment gateway. A built-in chart displays payment method distribution, so you can compare gateways at a glance.

What data can I export, and in which formats?

Reports and reservation data can be exported as CSV, XML or JSON. Exports can include per attendee fields, fixed fields, event locations, organizers and ticket names, which is useful for sharing with a team or moving data into another system.

Can I report on a single event or a specific time period?

Yes. You can filter reservations by event name, category, organizer or venue, and limit reports to any date range. Results can then be sorted by booking date, order time or other criteria.
