What’s new in Terms and Conditions 2.2.0
Version 2.2.0 · Feb 18, 2025
Latest
- FixedThe "Terms & Conditions" field on registration when content has the <form> tag inside.
- FixedSending email "Agreement request"
What it does
Membership and community sites usually need proof that people accepted the site rules when they signed up. Ultimate Member handles registration on its own, and this extension adds the consent step. A checkbox appears on the registration form, and users cannot finish signing up until they tick it. This gives you a clear record that each member saw your terms and agreed to them at the point of account creation.
The terms stay on the same page as the form. A show and hide toggle lets users open the full text, read it and collapse it again without leaving registration. If you run several registration forms, you can attach a different set of terms to each one, which helps when membership levels or user roles have their own rules. The extension also handles content that contains form markup inside the terms field, and it works with the agreement request email.
Best for
- Membership sites running the Ultimate Member plugin
- Online communities that need members to accept site rules
- Sites with separate registration forms for different user roles

Questions about Terms and Conditions
Does this work without Ultimate Member?
No. It is an extension for the Ultimate Member plugin and adds its terms checkbox to Ultimate Member registration forms. You need Ultimate Member running on your site for it to work.
Can users read the terms without leaving the registration page?
Yes. The registration form includes a show and hide toggle. Users can open the full terms text on the same page, read it, then hide it again and finish signing up.
Can I use different terms for different registration forms?
Yes. Each registration form can have its own terms and conditions, which is useful when membership levels or user roles come with different rules or agreements.
Can people register without accepting the terms?
No. The agreement checkbox is mandatory, so users must tick it to confirm they accept your terms before the registration can be completed.
Is Terms and Conditions free?
The code of Terms and Conditions is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Terms and Conditions is this?
Version 2.2.0, released Feb 18, 2025. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update Terms and Conditions?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Terms and Conditions automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
