What it does
A plain date field lets visitors choose any day on the calendar, including weekends, holidays and days you are fully booked. That works poorly for consultants, event planners, rental businesses and anyone else who takes scheduled bookings. This add-on keeps everything inside Ninja Forms, so you can build appointment forms from your WordPress dashboard without connecting a separate scheduling service. It requires Ninja Forms, and it works with your existing forms as well as new ones.
Inside the form builder you can enable or disable specific dates, block weekends or holidays, set your available hours and split them into time increments such as 15 or 30 minute blocks. Submission limits cap how many bookings a day or time slot can accept, which helps prevent overbooking. Paired with the Ninja Forms Conditional Logic add-on, you can show or hide fields and steps based on the chosen date or time, apply different pricing and send tailored notifications.
Best for
- Consultants and service businesses taking appointments
- Event planners managing scheduled signups
- Rental companies booking dates and times

Set your available hours and define time increments, for example 15 or 30 minute blocks, to match how you schedule appointments.

With the Ninja Forms Conditional Logic add-on, show or hide fields and form steps based on the date or time a visitor picks.

Questions about Advanced Datepicker
Does this work on its own or do I need Ninja Forms?
It is an add-on for Ninja Forms, so Ninja Forms must be active on your site. The datepicker works inside the Ninja Forms builder and can be added to existing forms or new ones you create.
Can I stop people from booking the same time slot too many times?
Yes. You can set submission limits per day or per time slot. Once a limit is reached, that date or time can no longer be booked, which helps prevent overbooking.
Can I offer different prices depending on the date chosen?
Yes, when you also use the Ninja Forms Conditional Logic add-on. Conditional logic lets you apply variable pricing, show or hide form steps and send customized notifications based on the visitor's selected date or time.
Can I close the calendar on weekends and holidays?
Yes. You can mark weekends or specific dates such as holidays as unavailable, either manually or automatically, and you can also enable or disable any individual date.
Is Advanced Datepicker free?
The code of Advanced Datepicker is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Advanced Datepicker is this?
Version 3.3.5, released Oct 15, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update Advanced Datepicker?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Advanced Datepicker automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
What does Advanced Datepicker need?
Advanced Datepicker needs Ninja Forms installed and active.
