What it does

Organizations that run CiviCRM often collect sign-ups, registrations and inquiries through WordPress forms, then retype that information into the CRM. That takes time and invites mistakes. This add-on removes the manual step. You attach a CiviCRM contact action to any Ninja Forms form, map the fields you want, and each submission is written to CiviCRM as a new or updated contact. It requires Ninja Forms, and the connection to CiviCRM is made automatically without any coding.

Beyond basic contact details such as contact type, email, phone and addresses, you can attach activity types and statuses, add people to groups, apply tags, save notes and register contacts for events, all configured inside the form. Matching rules check for existing records by email, name plus email, or physical address, so returning visitors update their record instead of creating duplicates. A status panel lets you check that the link between WordPress and CiviCRM is working. It suits nonprofits, advocacy groups and other organizations that manage constituents in CiviCRM.

Best for

  • Nonprofits managing donors and volunteers in CiviCRM
  • Advocacy groups collecting sign-ups through WordPress forms
  • Organizations running event registrations with CiviCRM

Features

Create contacts from forms

Attach a CiviCRM contact action to any Ninja Forms form to add new contacts with details like contact type, email, phone and addresses.

Duplicate checking and updates

Matching rules look for existing contacts by email, name plus email, or physical address, then update that record instead of adding a duplicate.

Event registrations

Register people for CiviCRM events directly from a form submission, keeping attendee records tied to their contact profiles.

Activities with types and statuses

Link activities to contacts from your forms and set the activity type and status as part of the form configuration.

Groups, tags and notes

Place contacts into groups, apply tags and save notes automatically, so new entries arrive in CiviCRM already organized.

Automatic connection

The add-on connects Ninja Forms to CiviCRM on its own, with no manual configuration or coding needed to start sending data.

Connection status panel

A built-in diagnostic panel shows the health of the link between WordPress and CiviCRM, so you can spot problems with data flow.

Questions about CiviCRM

Do I need Ninja Forms to use this?

Yes. This is an add-on for Ninja Forms, so the Ninja Forms plugin must be on your site. You build forms in Ninja Forms and add a CiviCRM action to decide what happens with each submission.

Will repeat submissions create duplicate contacts in CiviCRM?

Not if you turn on deduplication. The add-on can check for an existing contact using email, name plus email, or physical address. When it finds a match, it updates that contact's information rather than creating a new record.

Can a form do more than add a contact?

Yes. Along with contact details, a form can register the person for an event, link an activity with a type and status, add them to groups, apply tags and save notes, all set up within Ninja Forms.

Do I need to write code to connect my site to CiviCRM?

No. The add-on connects Ninja Forms to CiviCRM automatically, and the field mapping is handled through form settings. A status panel lets you confirm the connection is working.

Is CiviCRM free?

The code of CiviCRM is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.

Which version of CiviCRM is this?

Version 3.0.4, released Oct 14, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.

How do I update CiviCRM?

Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of CiviCRM automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.

What does CiviCRM need?

CiviCRM needs Ninja Forms installed and active.
