What it does
Plenty of sites need to collect money but have no use for a full store with carts, catalogs and product pages. This add-on handles that case by putting Stripe payments inside the forms you already build with Ninja Forms, which it requires. You can charge a fixed price, use a total calculated from the customer's selections, or let people enter their own amount, which works well for donations and service fees. Checkout runs through Stripe Checkout, and you connect your Stripe API credentials from the WordPress dashboard.
Recurring billing is handled by linking a form to a Stripe Recurring Payment Plan ID, which creates a new subscription on each submission, with optional trial periods. You can also add a one-time charge alongside a subscription, and conditional logic lets customers choose between one-time and recurring payments on the same form. Payment methods are configurable per form and follow what your Stripe account has enabled. A test mode using Stripe test keys lets you check the full payment flow before taking real payments.
Best for
- Nonprofits and causes collecting donations through a form
- Service businesses selling bookings, fees or simple products
- Sites offering subscriptions without a full ecommerce plugin

Questions about Ninja Forms Stripe
Do I need Ninja Forms to use this?
Yes. This is an add-on for Ninja Forms, so the Ninja Forms plugin must be active on your site. The add-on then adds Stripe payment options to the forms you build with it.
Can I sell subscriptions with it?
Yes. You link a form to a Stripe Recurring Payment Plan ID, and each submission creates a new subscription, with an optional trial period. You can also add a one-time charge alongside the subscription, or let customers choose between one-time and recurring payments using conditional logic.
Which payment methods can my customers use?
It supports major credit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, ACH, BACS and SEPA bank debits, and bank redirects like iDEAL and Sofort. The options available depend on which methods are enabled in your Stripe account, and you can configure them per form.
Can I test payments before going live?
Yes. A test mode works with Stripe test API keys and test credit card numbers, so you can run through the whole checkout and confirm your forms, totals and emails behave correctly before real customers pay.
Is Ninja Forms Stripe free?
The code of Ninja Forms Stripe is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Ninja Forms Stripe is this?
Version 3.2.12, released Sep 9, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update Ninja Forms Stripe?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Ninja Forms Stripe automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
What does Ninja Forms Stripe need?
