A wedding photographer may want soft music under a set of portraits, and a teacher or museum may want a spoken explanation to go with each collection. This addon handles that inside Envira Gallery, so you can add an audio track to a gallery without writing code or adding a separate player to the page.
Once the addon is active, you pick an audio file for a gallery and choose how it should play. It can start automatically when the lightbox opens, or visitors can control playback themselves. The audio runs in the lightbox as people move through the images, and it works with your existing Envira Gallery setup and themes. It suits anyone already using Envira Gallery who wants galleries that include sound.

Do I need Envira Gallery to use this addon?
Yes. The Audio Addon is an extension for Envira Gallery and adds audio to galleries built with it. It works inside the Envira Gallery lightbox, so you need Envira Gallery set up on your site first.
Can visitors control the audio or does it always play automatically?
You decide. Playback can be set to start automatically when the lightbox opens, or left to visitors so they can start and control the audio themselves. This lets you match the behavior to the kind of gallery you are presenting.
