What it does
Building a gallery usually means moving photos from your phone or computer onto your desk, then uploading them to WordPress one batch at a time. If your pictures already live in Dropbox, that extra step adds up. This addon removes it by letting Envira Gallery read your Dropbox files and bring them into a gallery directly. It is especially handy if your phone syncs photos to Dropbox automatically, since the images are ready to use as soon as they land in your account.
Setup starts with authenticating Envira Gallery with read-only access to your Dropbox, so the plugin can see and import files without changing them. After that, a dedicated Dropbox tab appears inside the Envira Gallery interface. From there you browse your folders, pick the images you want and import them into the gallery you are working on. Importing into a gallery requires permission to edit that gallery, which keeps imports in the hands of the right users. The addon works alongside Envira Gallery's own gallery features.
