What it does
Anyone who builds a lot of galleries knows the routine: open a new gallery, then click through the same columns, lightbox and display options you chose last time. This addon removes that repetition. You pick your standard configuration once, and each new gallery or album starts with those choices already in place. That keeps galleries across your site looking and behaving the same way, which matters when your images represent your work or your brand.
When the addon is turned on, it creates a special gallery called Envira Default Settings. You edit it with the same editor you already use for regular galleries, so there is nothing new to learn. Whatever you set there becomes the starting point for new galleries and albums. The defaults also cover options added by other Envira addons you have active, so their settings carry over too. You can still adjust any individual gallery after it is created.

Yes. Defaults Addon is an extension for the Envira Gallery plugin. It works inside Envira Gallery's interface and sets the starting configuration for galleries and albums you create with it, so it has no function on its own.
