Posting them in an open gallery means anyone with the page link can see and save them. This addon works inside your existing Envira Gallery setup and adds a password layer to the galleries you pick, so visitors must enter the right password before the images and videos appear.
Beyond passwords, the addon helps discourage copying by disabling right-click on gallery images, including in fullscreen view. You can also rewrite the messages visitors see, such as the password required prompt and the wrong password notice, so they match the tone of your site. It fits sites that already use Envira Gallery and want to keep certain galleries private while leaving others open to everyone.
